Please note that since 2010, 2014, SOCS have collated over 1000 resident objections which, to date, have not been resolved adequately to meet the pubic need for sustainable development.
This site has been subject to repeated public planning application consultations since 2010 - when it was refused and the Appellant Mersea Homes CBRE lost at Appeal in 2010.
Comment: OBJECTIONS Remain; Offsite mitigations are inadequate for school, sixth Form, Special Needs provision and Community Sports facilities.
Breach potentially of the IGS SPD on Masterplan of the Garden Suburb CS10 Breach-due to failure of Statutory Partners to support Borough Determination Process Process and provide on site provision of Schools & GP surgery.
What the Statutory Stakeholders (and non statutory) have said so far......MUST BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT
Off site mitigations have not been taken sufficiently into account, (such as SUDS issues and difficulties along Tuddenham Road from Westerfield Watercourse and across the Millennium Cemetery, which is breaching it's planning consent by conducting burials inappropriately in water due to water table and flood conditions.
We, the wider public and local residents are weary of reporting noise, light pollution, dangerous highway situations and Flood and contamination with no actions or IBC Enforcement taken.
We are disappointed at the minimal intervention of Statutory Partners, (such as the Environment Agency), internal, such as Building Control and Public Health and Environmental Protection, as well as feeling totally let down by Suffolk County Council.
IBC Planning Officers too are being let down by the Statutory Agencies, constantly, who force a breach CS10, by withdrawing services agreed, or by coming up with, traffic mitigation measures which should not and nor will bear scrutiny at either determination or at an Appeal.
This situation and the stress and harm, which will ensue has to stop, whatever the current Government's rhetoric dictates.
New concerns are on IBC portal, date March/April 2023/2025 with whom we agree include;
Place Consultancy
Westerfield Parish Councils and Tuddenham Parish Council
North Fringe Protection group
Archaeology
Network Rail
NHS Estates Health Impact Assessment out of date. The determination must be mindful to explore the implications and adverse effects on the SNEE ICB and CON-EAST_ANGLIAN_AMBULANCE_NHS_TRUST-5356244.pdf
