Amended documentation and additional information to the above application was submitted to Ipswich Borough Council on 8th December 2016. The amendments include revisions to the Environmental Statement. In addition, the description of the application has also been amended to reflect the removal of detailed proposals for 80 of the proposed houses from the outline planning application.
Consultation on the documentation has begun. An extended period for comments has been arranged and will end on 23rd January 2017. Please submit any comments which you wish to make by the 23rd January 2017.
Please note that all previous comments received in relation to this planning application (a full list of letters received can be viewed alongside the application details online) will still be taken into account in the consideration of this application.
The comments received to date will be summarised and addressed in a report to planning committee as part of the determination of the planning application. You may of course have additional comments to make in response to the amended material and these can be submitted online or in writing.

AP problem at Kesgrave also recently.

The latest Ipswich Air Pollution report went to council this week, and suggests a growing problem.
This is SOCS contribution to the Northern By Pass debate.

the conversation/"campaign" re Northern By Pass ( suggested we understand from readers locally) and the
Star "Campaign" for Northern "Bypass'- or
relief Road................
It's
good that Department of Health has costed this impact as between £18
( health Impacts) and £ 57 billion (overall costs. The
following will need to be taken seriously into account. There appears
to be a growing legal precedent to.

The
National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) says air pollution
in England contributes to the deaths of 25,000 people each year.
Samantha Heath was on the NICE guideline committee and Cllr Martin
Tett is chairman of the Local Government Association’s Environment,
Economy, Housing and Transport Board.
The guideline is for;
Local
authority staff working in:public health, including environmental
health
transport
planninglocal air quality management
SOCS
and the NFPG have just responded to IBC CSR and Local Plan
Consultation.
We have yet to find where the Public Health Impacts from Air Pollution we asked for at the IBC Inquiry are written into the IBC Core
Strategy Review modifications?

this week I had the results back from the Friends of the

result was 41.7 µg/m3 (micrograms per cubic metre) of Nitrogen
Dioxide (NO2)

is above the level at which the annual legal limit is set.

European Union has set the legal limit for NO2 pollution at an annual
